Author Guidelines
Welcome to the Author Guidelines for the Journal of Sustainable Energy Environment and Green Technologies. JSEEGT is committed to upholding the highest standards of scientific integrity and publication ethics. This document outlines the comprehensive formatting, ethical, and submission requirements for all authors.
Adherence to these guidelines is mandatory. Manuscripts that fail to conform to these specifications may be rejected immediately prior to the peer-review process.
1. Submission Process and Policies
Originality and Exclusivity
Submissions must be completely original work that has not been published, accepted for publication, or under simultaneous consideration by any other journal, conference, or publication entity. "Salami-slicing" (splitting a single study into several minor publications) is strictly prohibited.
Peer Review System
JSEEGT utilizes a rigorous Peer Review process. To ensure impartiality:
- Reviewers: Manuscripts will be evaluated anonymously by at least two independent subject matter experts. Authors will generally receive an initial decision within one month.
- Acceptance: Publication decisions are based solely on scientific merit and rigor. "Acceptance without review" is never possible.
Online Submission
Authors must create an account and submit all materials through our centralized online submission portal. Submissions sent via direct email to the editorial office will be rejected.
2. Ethical Responsibilities & AI Policy
JSEEGT is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and strictly enforces the following ethical standards:
Plagiarism Policy
- All submitted manuscripts are rigorously screened using Turnitin.
- Similarity Index: The overall similarity index must be less than 10%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be summarily rejected.
- Proper acknowledgements, quotation marks for verbatim copying, and citations must be used at all times.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage
- Strict Prohibition: The use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools, Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, or AI-based text generators is strictly unacceptable for generating any portion of the manuscript text, data analysis, or literature review.
- Generative Images: The use of generative AI tools to create artwork, figures, or graphical abstracts is strictly prohibited.
- AI tools do not meet our criteria for authorship, as they cannot assume accountability for the work.
Fundamental Errors
Authors have a profound obligation to notify the journal editor immediately if a significant error or inaccuracy is discovered in their published or submitted work, and to cooperate with the editor to retract or correct the paper via an erratum.
3. Required Submission Files
Authors must upload the following files during the submission process:
- Full Manuscript File: This file must contain all corresponding and co-authors' information, affiliations, the complete manuscript text, and the graphical abstract.
- Cover Letter: A brief letter introducing the research, stating its significance, and confirming that the work is original and not under consideration elsewhere.
